We’re delighted to be back once again to make sure we’re doing all we can for our two chosen charities. And it’s all down to you, our amazing competitors, that make it such a success. Once again, you’ll compete against the fittest in the industry on foot, bike and water, traversing some of Britain’s most spectacular scenery and toughest terrain. 

Taking part as a team, you’ll be up against other top UK construction companies, challenging your fitness and navigation skills. The event is professionally delivered by the ex-Army team at Brutal10 Events and embraces all abilities. 

The details:
Date: 3-4 October 2024
Start: 08:30, 04 October 2024
Registration: 18:00, 03 October 2024 to collect equipment and attend briefing
Location: YHA Hawkshead, Hawkshead, Ambleside, Cumbria LA22 0QD
Format: 5 hours of challenging activities including navigating, fell running and mountain biking plus other surprise activities
Teams: Up to 4 people (minimum 3) completing each activity
Categories: Men’s open, women’s open, mixed team, project team, combined age over 150 years and most sponsorship raised. All Categories will be entered into an overall event winner on the day.

Accommodation is free for the first 25 teams. There are also cabins that can be hired at an additional charge, which you’ll need to arrange directly with the YHA Centre on +44 345 371 9321 or by email hawkshead@yha.org.uk

Shuttle transfer at 17:00 from Windermere Station to Windermere Ferry and then from the Ferry terminus onto the event venue on 03 October 2024. The return journey to the Ferry crossing and then back to Windermere station will leave at 15:30 on 04 October 2024. We advise not booking a train to London before 5pm if you are planning on using the shuttle and ferry transfer.
